This pamphlet, written in 1423, was published by a German scholar whose name is unknown to us, as he remained strictly anonymous. From his pen, however, we can find traces of a genuine adept who understood our matter and how to work it. This fruit can be perceived as it leads us to reflect on metals and their evolution on earth. For this reason, it was originally known by this other title: The True Teaching of Philosophy on the Generation of Metals and Their True Origin.
