I believe this was one of the greatest alchemists of recent times, and that, despite his extreme sincerity in his exposition, no one paid him any attention, opting instead for the Fulcanellian mystery or the convoluted history of Cyliani, or even the more complicated Hermetic Recreations—all paths that lead only to getting lost in the Hermetic labyrinth. Cockren, an alchemist of our time, helps us escape the jumble of diverse paths and teaches us that it is possible to obtain the Philosopher's Stone in our time. The book includes two brilliant short works that delve into Hermetic philosophy, and finally, in the epilogue, I include practical experience with full-color photographs that corroborate Archibald Cockren's words and guide us to full experimentation with our metallic matter. If you are lost hunting for world spirits (a very difficult substance to obtain) waking up at dawn to catch your blessed dew, or extracting salts from ashes wet with dawn, this book will direct you to where your eyes should always have been fixed.
